Won third place at the Stanton Art exhibit with the theme "The world in our backyard" I got certificates from the senate and legislature, and a hundred bucks.

I drew this right after my LA trip, took me two days and I drew until my heart no longer felt heavy. Then I saw this random art exhibit on Instagram.

The  Pirate with her crew of frogs had explored half the world searching for a treasure

I put this up for our choir's concert, we put in an estimate of $80 dollars but if I could guess maybe 100 or so because the other two got me no less than 100 and I got to keep 'em too.

I felt the need to draw this randomly at 11:00 pm, I did that for three hours listening to a podcast. I remember thinking I was in such a stagnant place of hiding under desks, from people who could not care less about me while I listen for their footsteps while I sing nonsensical things, over the course of three months just going in and out of the art focus my attention oscillating between school deadlines, choir events, and personal tragedies. I put off finishing it because the ocean while beautiful was tedious to do, I settled for watercolor on the last few pages, gel pens, and ink for the finishing touches.

Thinking they'd find it in the wide open sea, They ventured into the dark only to get captured by another ship, Pirates aren't exactly known for being friendly. Unfortunately for them, it was exactly the plan to get caught.

I won second place and got $150. This time I got to attend the event, and Connor came to support which was really nice. When I entered the first time in Spring I didn't get to stay as long. I was there all of ten minutes, saw a dog, and left. also because I did not have a proper ride. I made this specifically for the art exhibit this time, I do hope to make it an annual thing to join and speak more with other contestants next time around.

The Pirate worked alone this time guiding young minds into wonder with the help modern technology offered hoping that nature can be brought into the unknown tomorrow.
